We offer you a traditional burial at sea at the Atlantic Ocean or the Mediterranean. For this type of burial at sea we have a small motor boat at our disposal which enables us to offer burials at sea at reasonable prices.
For a sea burial within the Cádiz province our port of departure is usually „Sancti Petri“ which is only 3km from the famous „Isla Sancti Petri“ where our sea burials generally take place.
The sea burial and the journey by boat normally takes between 1-2 hours. Up to 4 relatives can attend the ceremony free of extra charges. We can of course also arrange a sea burial with more than 4 relatives attending; for this we have a larger boat available. This boat can accommodate up to 40 persons and also has catering facilities on board (prices are available upon request).
The “Costa de la Luz” which means “Coast of Light“ is surrounded by two seas which enables us to offer sea burials within the Mediterranean as well as within the Atlantic.
Castillo de Sancti Petri: The castle on the small island in front of Sancti Petri sometimes almost seems to float in certain lighting conditions. It was built between 16th and 18th century but the original walls are much older. They originate from a sanctuary of the Phoenician Carthaginian god Melkart, the equivalent of the young Hercules – in fact statues of Hercules were also found here. A brochure of Chiclana also says that „this most famous antique temple“ was visited by Hamilkar Barkas (Hannibal’s father) and Julius Caesar.
On request, we also arrange a "Silent Burial" (i.e. without attendance of relatives) in the Atlantic ocean at Castillo Sancti Petri, Cádiz province, for a fee of 299,- Euro.. Of course we also guarantee that at a silent burial the ceremony takes place with dignity and respect on this last journey to find rest.
