Procedure of a Natural Burial in Spain
In Spain natural burials and sea burials can be arranged quite easily and can take place without waiting for lengthy authorisation processes. Our company arranges for and takes care of all the necessary regulatory formalities. The body of the deceased is cremated in the UK- this is usually arranged by your local funeral director. After the body has been cremated, we will contact the crematorium and arrange for the the cremated remains to be transferred to Spain. Of course, we will notify you about the arrival of the urn and arrange with you a date on which the burial of your loved one will be taking place. We take great care that the burial takes place in a dignified and respectful way according to the last will of the deceased and/or his/her relatives as a burial at sea (i.e. in the Atlantic Ocean or the Mediterranean) or as a natural burial at a location of choice. The burials can take place with or without the attendance of family members and/or friends. The date for the burial can be set according to your preference. Additional services like booking hotel accommodation, arranging pick-up from the airport or planning a funeral feast can be arranged by us according to your specific wishes and individual requirements.
